The story appears in James Greller's original book about the BMT Els. Apparently a Queens-bound Multi ran right through Myrtle Avenue (LL) station without stopping and headed up the Myrtle Avenue Line.The quick thinking towerman phoned ahead to the agent at Wycloff. The agent in turn ran up to the platform and told the leading train to get out of town. The dispatcher up at Metropolitan Avenue immediately started to clear the station tracks. Fortunately the runaway Multis came to a stop at Knickerbocker Avenue. Larry, RedbirdR33
