Didn't look like they lobbied all that hard. If you can start to build a route under a important row... like Madison Ave...then just drop the project out of the blue.. Start a Utica AV subway across Atlantic,then pull out.. The City did a lot of these projects,then quit. The remaining funds went to other use. In fact, it Should have been the starter fund for the SaS Water st branch, which included the Christie street cut. Yeah,it was a little over 112 million, but still. |
