That explains why the 62s and 68s with the NYAB brake valves had them replaced by WABCO ME43s removed from the decommissioned cabs on those cars so equipped when the cars were unitized. However, many of the M&K GOHed R-26s and 28s had NYAB Newtran brake valves and ran with them until the cars were scrapped. |
