There was also a subway or elevated car from 1907 in the parade as well.435 hydrants, 3 miles of a center line, 650 trash baskets and two buses were given the Gold paint treatment. The Golden Jubilee parade, held October 10th, 1957, was the 50th Anniversary celebration of the 5th Avenue Association, which was succeeded in 1993 by the Fifth Avenue Business Improvement District.
