If You see a bus operator, train operator or conductor with a mask on, it is their own. It is very difficult to buy one now.The conductor position can't be changed. The board is there, which he must point to. At curved stations there are cameras where he can see the entire platform. If the conductor would work in the last car of a 600' train, he can't see the platform as well vs. working in the middle and having 300' to his left and right. The conductor works in the last car of a 4 car G because that is the only other car, besides the first, with door operating controls. |
