I rode on the only JJ train I would ever take, from Elderts Lane to 168th St. and back, on either Sunday the 24th or Sunday the 31st of 1968. There was a recital at Franklin K. Lane HS that day, by a singing family that was touted as the next Von Trapp Family Singers. Sadly, they were panned and faded into obscurity, never to be heard from again. |
