Stuck in snow is quite a bit different than sliding off the road rolling off the road and killing people.Look some more. Amtrak's annual subsidy is divided among various accounts. The NEC gets $750 million, but it is called "capital". Most of what they called capital is operating expenses, like track and catenary maintenance. |
