Don't be so sure. Its a subjective thing. If the business says its impossible to do business & the MTA says different, now what? If there was a waiting list for businesses to get in, then the lease might be able (with a substantial $$$ penalty) to be torn up, but with the bad press nowadays about the conditions at GCT, I doubt that any new merchants are lined up at the MTA realty office. I mean a prospective new tenant has to be thinking , if everything was so good, why leave? |
