New York is one of the world's richest cities, and the tunnels are primarily used for tri-state transport. There's been a predictable need for this upgrade for decades, and we could have got this done by now had we started 20 years ago.Considering that we ate billions extra for the 3 stop 2 track joke on 2nd ave, I don't think Sam should be paying. We and LA/SF are the Richie Rich of the USA, we should pay for our own grift. |
