Some of the cars in the consist had pre GOH signs printed over the post GOH rollsigns, that was a nice touch. They also gave out R42 pins which was cool.If the R32 retirement run is on the A or C line I'll probably pass, its too hectic being around railfans in the masses. I now have a headache lol but then again I pretty much rode the train the entire day from the first stop at Eucild until the last stop at Eucild. Normally when fanning the subway I only do so for a few hours in the afternoon/early evening. And I rarely ever stay on the same train for longer than 40 minutes or so. Next thing to catch, R46 Q train which is now a thing outside of the AM rush, I never rode a 46 on Brighton or Second Ave. All in all, I'm glad the MTA had this event for the R42 cars. |
