Shifting from state to city is easy. When I was at the Department of City Planning, they shifted me to the state payroll during the 70s budget crisis so I shouldn’t get laid off.When I got the job at the MTA NYCT, technically a state agency, I was shifted back to the city payroll. I made one trip and filled out a few forms to get my pension shifted from the State back to the city. Didn’t think it would be that easy. |
