At least once a year from 1944 to 1954 treated me to a day in Philly, so I recall when the city was crowded with industry and jobs. Your news that MFSE stations are experiencing greater patronage is welcome. In the 1970's I did not imagine a comeback in Brooklyn, Philly, or Jersey City. I suspect there are still abandoned factories around Wyoming Avenue. |
