Dyre collected fares late PMs and midnights on board and till it closed N/O Bway/Myrtle C/Rs collected fares between Sumner and Navy St (Bridge/Jay had an agent) late PMs and Midnights. They also experimented with on board fare collection on the Midnight Rockaway Round Robin Shuttle, but it didn’t last too long because of the problems enforcing the double fare collection from passengers departing the trains in Rockaway and the need to issue paper transfers to passenger entering at Rock Pk needing to transfer to Euclid bound shuttles at Gaston. |
