I searched on the Transit Museum's Past Perfect website and found this image. The website says it was taken in July 1979. The description reads "Photograph documenting the conditions of the Botanic Gardens station of the BMT Franklin Shuttle Line for the New York City Transit Authority Maintenance of Way Division. Photograph shows graffiti and train station signage for 8th Avenue Subway. Typewritten label on photograph reads: Botanic Gardens Station, Vandalized entrance way." |
