I might add that the 172 cars that received SMS, were highly successful for 2 reasons:1) Much of the scope of the work was done at the suggestion of Pitkin Shop personnel base on in service failures and not some cookie cutter plan. 2) Much of the work was done at Pitkin Shop by the people who "owned" the cars. |
