At least in the later years the R12 and R14 cars were more frequently used at the ends of trains (except of course for the 2 car sets used for the BG-SF shuttle) or at any place in the train other than the middle two cars so the caps and triggers were not used. The R10 is a unique car the only SMEE car with pneumatically operated doors. |
