That’s not the reading he’s talking about. Those signs were only on the 2500 and up steels. The 2000- 2499 steels had simply “Nassau St” on their destination signs for Nassau Loop services that ran via bridge and tunnel in opposite directions.

I posted that photo to see you or anyone had the correct answer. That sounded close to what he was asking.
