It remind me of an incident involving a bad order EE in the PM rush in the 60 St tunnel. The train went O/S at Lex due to door trouble but then laid down just S/O the 11 St cut backing up all service behind it. After that R-1/9 cars that were used along with the R-16s and 38s were ordered off the EE. The problem was that it was a SMEE train that had the problem and not an R-1/9. |
