Higher speeds do not necessarily increase throughput.I never said they did. I said that higher speeds reduce the number of cars you need. Simply because you can run the same number of trips per day with fewer cars because each trip takes less time. No other reason. This is not a deep observation. Why are you and Stephen arguing with me about something so trivial? |
