The only place I remember seeing them in the Southern was on the B because thay were never equipped with proper signage for those routes. I had one on one of my midday trips to 57/6 and the north signs had to be blanked because they lacked 57 St destination signs. Even the route signs were slightly incorrect since they didn’t have letters but only route descriptions which on the B read “Wash Hts 6t Ave Lcl” and 57 St trains didn't go to Wash Hts. Besides the presence of an R-10 train on the B in the first place, my north motor was 3138 the car with the vents in the side door windows. |
