The Steinway Tunnels have the jog mid-way through and the whole tunnel has unforgiving clearances. I went through there today for the first time in about a a year, and was not holding on looking out the front. I had to grab the grab-iron very fast as it was quite a jolt. So I don't know how they would manage that jerk to one side with catwalks. |
