I think as long as the trains are kept clean and in good running condition, including HVAC and lighting, the public won't care. I think the non-railfan public doesn't bother to notice any differences between R46s and R160s, as they both have electronic signage. R68s? Hmmm..maybe they'd be noticed.Now if the TA sends rusted out R42s with scratched up windows to the SAS, THAT would be noticed. |
