There was at one time the Times Square plaque on that wall too,
but I believe it was moved upstairs to the street level entrance on the south side of 42nd betw Bway and 7th.

That plaque was by Track 1 by the mysterious "Knickerbocker" door.
Notice the new tiled wall installed after the plaque & wall were relocated. (Aug. 1998)
