Yes, that's what I meant - when I was growing up in Queens during the mid 1950s, it was all R1-9's on the E, F, & in Manhattan on the D when we used it - we moved out to L.I. when I was seven.I wasn't aware of the R-10s until I was 14 or 15 years old, when I used it to visit the son of family friends who lived in the Bronx (took the A to 207, then the #10 bus to Riverdale just above Henry Hudson Parkway where his family lived.) |
