CTA has had anugly,IMHO, habit of erasing L stations in deteriorating/bulldozed neighborhoods aswell as pruning low ridershipbranches. In the past decade the 22nd St/CermakRdstation has been restored,now Damen. If they had brains rebuilding the Humboldt Park Branch would be a winner as the 'hood is booming. |
