Their insurance premiums are lower than their labor costs.
Steal Coal?
Steal Ethanol?
Steal Grain?
Steal Lumber?
Steal Cars?

The only trains worth ripping on are Containers Trains. These are already steel boxes Many sit in a well and cannot be opened until lifted out. It is simple to make a contaainer car that can exclude theifs.
