PATCO cars are just as old as the 46s, and they were rebuilt.In England,The D Stock were rebuilt into modern railcars after over 50 years of service. Because some thing is old, doesn't mean it's outlived it's usefulness. The shell are inspected regularly, so why can't the very best of them be retained for refurbishment? |
