As I recall, the tunnels under the East river of the Flushing Line were WHITE WASHED for the Worlds Fair.Does anyone, I mean anyone also share this memory? Well, since you wrote "anyone" I thought that I'd crawl out from under my rock and and second your recollection. I'm not certain how long it remained white but believe that it outlasted the second season of the fair. |
