Shown here Between Lowery & Rawson sts.,right after the line's opening (@ 1917)is the viaduct with the original tiles. What was rebuilt was all internal, as in tracks, wiring, roadbed, sub ballast, waterproofing the top of the arches from the inside & the station platforms. The exterior was only sandblasted with minor patchwork (industrial strength DryLoc) with the tiles staying intact. |
