Steels (ABs) never ran to the Canarsie pier since with the exception of the one or two that were photographed on the Sea Beach Line, they weren’t equipped with trolley poles and the line S/O E 105 St was trolley wire and not 3rd rail. Up till that time, 3rd rail ended at E105 St where the BUs changed from 3rd rail to overhead. 3rd rail was extended into Rock Pky station when that became the terminal. |
