I bought the book below from Transport Diversions (no longer in business). Looks like it can still be found if you go on line.
It's approx. 9 X 11 and features excellent full color pictures of the Glasgow subway before modernization throughout. A couple of pages at the end has pictures of the subway after modernization, with a picture or two of preserved cars in a museum setting (Glasgow museum of Transport possibly?)
