Shaker Square is where the two branches of the Shaker Heights Rapid Transit (now known as the Blue and Green lines of the Greater Cleveland RTA) come together. The diner is adjacent the platform for trains inbound to Cleveland.

As toGermantown, my memory is a diner at the very enmd of the #23 at the turnaround. I lived near G'town & Chelten in 1965 so explored the 23 some.
