Wow that's cool. Hopefully one of the next trips to New York, I'd like to check it out more closely.

When you do, remember the following:

1) Best time of the year is when there's no leaves on the trees. It's probably a dense jungle since I took those pics.

2) Announce your intentions to walk the RBB and see if any SubChatters would join you. Safety in numbers !

3) Wear old clothing and good foot wear. Since the bridge over the lower Montauk division was burned down long ago, you'll have to make your way down the embankment to cross the tracks.

4) Make sure you camera batteries are charged up or have spares. Be prepared !
