Re: Study of old Rockaway rail line’s revival back on track

No.
The tunnels have bellmouths on Both ends of the stations, that veer over to what would be the "express-local" configuration.

The current express tracks would translation over to what would be the former local platform, now New Express Platform... while the locals are routed to the new local platform/trackways.

Woodhaven Blvd is now an All Stop station.
Leaving, the trains repeat, moving over to the usual alignment ,but now with the option becoming either exp or local...RBB,JAMCTR,or HILLSIDE via crossovers.

Manhattan bound, same set up, local or exp, to three East River crossings.

I'd say,it's pretty cool when you think about it,but for most parts...it will kill one of the best express runs ever in the system.
