CBTC will do nothing for capacity.As it stands, the Queens Blvd subway is the only east west Fully equipped rapid transit route built specifically to be a TRUNK line with feeder options. The 63rd St subway/Bypass route is the key to killing that conga line normally seen during the peak period. The key to the successful utilization of the Bypass? Eliminate the "drama stations" planned for Woodside. Super Express means Exactly that. Stations should be located at the Spur... and connection to the Jamaica El. |
