This is one reason why it should be incorporated into the subway. It would be able to run more frequently and the study team themselves have already stated it would have higher ridership as subway. Perhaps they could even increase the figure beyond the 47K they projected if some of the southeast Queens bus routes (like the Q85 and Q111) were rerouted to the RBB at North Conduit Ave instead of crawling up Merrick or Farmers boulevards. |
