And why can't you see that.

NJT handles Liberty Airport Quite well, and LIRR already handles Belmont Park service.

LOIN thinks the LIRR is the better choice if you are thinking of a JFK-NYC service.

If you are thinking of a neighborhood subway service that happens to stop at the airport, the (A) train already does that, and the time into the city will be about the same (45 minutes) with a subway connection vs 25 minutes on an LIRR connection.
