For those of you who may not remember, the last 4 R-32s 3946-3949 which were equipped with experimental Pioneer III trucks had a much shinier exterior than the rest of the R-32s. The was rather pleased and inquired of Budd as to what kind of treatment they gave to those cars to make them look that way. The Budd Co insisted they did nothing different possibly afraid of some sort of legal action from the TA which would not have happened. |
