They weren't exactly providing reliable on-time service in the 70s. And they made little effort at all to clean the graffiti. I'm not saying just let it stay. But I am saying that when there is no other trainset available, run the train that one time, then make sure it is replaced by another at the end of that run. Maybe even make an announcement on board explaining that that is what they are doing. A train running light is just as visible to people who want pictures of it as an occupied train anyway. |
