I for one didn't know that any IND construction features diagonal roof bracing. I thought that was a characteristic of only the (older) IRT and BMT. Growing up along the Queens Blvd line, I never saw diagonals at the roof anywhere, and everything about the IND seemed more modern than the older divisions. |
