I got an M3 on a weekend and rode for free (due to LIRR cross-honouring for cancelled J train).

I've taken to hanging out around Penn at rush hour to scrounge an M3, and so far I've caught a RFW to Port Washington, Long Beach, and Huntington. I might try Atlantic next time I get a chance (hoping for West Hempstead!) but unfortunately, I only rarely have the time to go railfanning the LIRR during rush hour and with the dark half of the year fast approaching my peak-fanning will have to be placed on hold until April-ish. Here's hoping the M3s survive until 2024 after all!
