One can see the underground Woodhaven station from the side windows if highly focused on the task. If the ticket collector hits you just as you are passing the station, you'll miss it. Going eastbound, the turnout is a cue that the station is next; the sound of the train is a bit different passing the turnout. The station has only a dim light or two of its own, so it may be a bit hard to make out much detail though, and the trains do pass quite fast, as others have noted. I don't recall ever being in the front of an M-1 or M-3 going through there, but that probably is more interesting. |
