LION recommends a trip on MNRR to Heartsdale to visit Enrico's Bakery, just a few steps away from the station.I was in a conversation with a friend in Hamburg, we were talking about Berliners and he showed an awful picture of a jelly donut. I'd not go to germany to get one, but I googled Jelly Donuts and way down near the bottom were the donuts that I remembered from when I was a kid. (Well, I am still a kid, really) were the donuts that Stern's Bakery used to make. WTH... If you ride out to Coney Island for a hot doge, which are nowhere near as good as they were before Super Storm Sandy, Then why not go to Heartsdale for some donuts. ROAR |
