From Nov. 1996-Feb. 1999, I rode the Bee Line bus #2 almost every day from here to almost its northern terminal. To this very day, it follows TARS Route 2, except that it's extended via DeHaven Drive through the area known as "Tudor Woods".Remarkably, there's almost no video I can find of Route 2. You Tube has quite a bit of footage about Routes 4, 5, 6, and 7, and some of the downtown Yonkers frames show a 2 in the background. But nothing about the 2 itself on Park or Palisade Avenues. |
