It's funny how it worked out that the IND ended up building a lot of the subway expansion plans that were considered for the BMT in the early 1920s, and simply duplicated the existing BMT to tie into the new routes. What is really ironic is the Arnine were built for service on the INDependent Subway. Yet they made their first and last runs on the BMT. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
