Posted by rbseabeach on Tue Aug 13 17:18:04 2019 I'm sorry that I raised this issue a couple of times before but this morning I was riding on car 7056 on a Northbound #5, I noticed a large patch approximately 2 feet in height and 18 inches in width on the end wall.This car is approximately 18 years old? and hopefully will be around for another 20 years. The melamine panels do get vandalized with scratches and a small patch is placed over it to cover the scratched surface. However, I never saw one this big. y question is very simple, if the TA wanted could they replace a melamine panel if the vandalism was that extensive? I also saw a graffiti cover #5 at the 180th Street yard this morning as well. Thank you! |
