Though the IND color chart shows Lexington Av (E,M) to be in the red family (like its neighbor Fifth Av), I believe Lex is the only completely non-tiled IND station at the platform level; its walls are painted, not tiled. Squire Vickers, we want answers. 1999:  2009:  2010:  Notice how the "Lexington Av-53 St" signs on the red conduit have now been removed. This is progress according to the MTA. |
