Awesome photos, thanks for sharing!On a related note, does the MTA/Transit Museum still have an example of the Rockwell truck? I remember them displaying one on the platform around the time the museum opened. In later years, after the problems with the trucks appeared, the description plaque was removed, but the truck remained, IIRC. It was removed when they revamped their displays years ago. Can't say for sure if it was kept. Perhaps scrapped as an embarrassment for the truck fiasco. Bill Newkirk |
