In fact it gets its equipment from the same pool of cars and some early morning and late evening W trains operate to and from 86th St. on the N line as locals via the tunnel. I used to ride one frequently from Atlantic Ave/Barclays Center (still called Pacific St. at the time) to Whitehall St. to get to work in the AM. When the W was cut in 2010 I switched to the 4/5 to Bowling Green. |
