For the 4 days that the Con Ed 14th Street plant was out, there was no subway service south of 34th street, so I don't see how the M could have gotten from the WB to midtown.Once power was back on, some of the river tunnels (like the L) remained closed a while longer, but the M and the E use the same river tunnel, so the E should have been back in full service the same time as the M. |
